With so much content to digest today, I’ve decided to break up all of it into bite sized posts so that you can easily find what you’re looking for! In this post, we’ll be talking about welcoming King Kong! Oh no, wait. Sorry. That’s just Mrs. Potts. We’ll also take a brief look at the second tapper to invade our Kingdom like rats in a New York City subway, the cursed cutlery. Let’s take a look and make sure to keep a cup of water close. Watching for the vibrations is a good way to tell of Mrs. Potts is nearby. She can’t see you if you stand still!
Welcoming Mrs. Potts
Mrs. Potts is a gem based character so welcoming her is a simple mater of purchasing her with gems. There are two routes you can go to do this. The first, and the one I recommend the most, is the in-game promotion to get her and a creperie. This will easily be the best bang for your buck.
The other way is to purchase her flat out for 180 gems, which isn’t bad, but the promo is still a better deal.
Say Hello to Mrs. Potts
Once you make the purchase, Mrs. Potts will be free to terrify children everywhere with her massive size. Hurray!
Something I mentioned in early posts where I was predicting this update was the question of where in the timeline of Beauty and the Beast this event would take place. It seems that the writers took this into account. As each character is welcomed, they notice that they are not human anymore, meaning that this event comes to us after the end of Beauty and the Beast. If I were Mrs. Potts, I would not be smiling about this.
Trust me Mrs. Potts, we’re less concerned about you being a teapot and more concerned about you being the size of a house. Still, you can’t help but love her desire to immediately clean up the Kingdom the moment she arrives.
Mrs. Potts will play a part in helping to gather materials to fight vine cages as well as welcoming future characters in the event.
Cursed Cutlery
As you progress in the storyline of the event, you’ll be introduced to a new form of tapper, the cursed cutlery.
Much like other tappers, you’ll want to click the icon for their quest to the left hand side of the screen. This will take you to the nearest one until you’ve defeated all of them.
Keep in mind that you will only be able to defeat so many at a time before you’ll have to wait for them to respawn. This first round involves tapping 20 of them. You’ll do this 10 at a time with a 5 minute window in between the rounds.
The Adventure Continues
The time is almost upon us! Check back in my next post for Welcoming the Beast! In the meantime, will you be making the Mrs. Potts purchase? And if so, are you concerned about all the cracks in the pavement and crushed flowers she will cause? Let me know in the comments!

I have to say, I really enjoy these posts. Not only do they give me much needed information but they’re highly entertaining.
Thank You!
I second that! Very much appreciated. 😀👍🏼
Darn they didn’t offer me that promo 😦 I had to buy mrs potts for 180 gems. They gave me a different promo than what you received. I usually always take the charter purchase deal the first day and was bummed it wasn’t available.
I always try to wait an hour after the event begins. That seems to be when the promos hit. I messes up back when they did the Pirates update and this happened with Jack. NEVER AGAIN!
I’m trying to decide whether to purchase the float or Mrs Potts. Which will be of most help in my attempt to complete this event?
Or, is there maybe another gem character not yet released that I should hold off on?
I don’t want to use real money, and I currently only have 200 gems.
Disney magic kingdom is the best
But I really want to have a lot of gems
Mrs. Potts is seriously gargantuan… Why is she 3 times the size of Cogsworth and Lumiere… put together!?
