Vault Disney

Vault Vader – Introduction

A long time ago in a galaxy far away…

You feel it in the air when you walk outside. You know that something big is coming, possibly the biggest film release of…ever? The force is everywhere. Toy lightsabers are piled up in every toy store and talk of a war in the stars is on everyone’s lips. That’s right, a new Star Wars is upon us. As I write through the Vault Disney series, I’ve come to love researching each movie and finding all its nooks and crannies. While I know this is a huge task to undertake for a series as grand as Star Wars, it seems like a logical choice, with a new film on the way and the obvious connection to Disney.

Therefore, starting this Sunday, and for every Sunday for the next six weeks I’ll be writing an article about each film in chronological order, starting with Episode IV on November 1. Why not Episode I you ask? In writing about the history of something, I find it best to start at the beginning. To write about Episode I before the much earlier release of Episode IV seems to be a disservice to the franchise.

With that said, join me, Luke, Han, Darth Vader, C-3PO and Jar-Jar, of course, as well as many others as we explore a galaxy far far away in preparation for the new film coming this December. The force is calling to you. Time to let it in.

  1. Looking forward to this! Anything that I can feast my eyes upon Star Wars related is very welcome…I wake up everyday and it’s hard to feel sad about much of anything these days haha…THERE’S A NEW FREAKING STAR WARS MOVIE COMING OUT! I should also mention that I kinda like the prequel trilogy. I’ve been in many arguments about why I like it, but the bottom line is – it was a big part of my childhood, I had fun at each opening night, and I just looked at it as more Star Wars, and more Star Wars is more of a good thing to me. I’m keeping myself optimistic about TFA simply because I know how many fans are already dooming the next set of movies, and I’m not going to let that bring me down. Great post…I’m looking forward to more!

    • Thanks! There’s a lot of stuff to go through to find just the right amount of info to write about (don’t want each post to be ten pages long) but it’s turning out really fun to write. Plus, I think any excuse to watch all the movies again is a good one. Thanks for reading!
