New Teaser Released for Disney Magic Kingdoms

Thanks to the super sleuths in the DMK community, we can no confirm that this update WILL BE BAMBI as Bambi is hiding behind the castle.  Well, it’s either Bambi or a 4 legged Ariel.  I’ll let you be the judge.

Original Article:

Hello all and welcome back!  It’s been a while since I’ve done a post due to the release of my book, Longtails: The Storms of Spring.  The last month has been a whirlwind and I am happy to say that Stitch and co. are welcomed and ready to do their part in my kingdom.  But already we have a new teaser to talk about, which means I think it is HIGH time I jumped back on this blogging train and stretch these muscles once again.  So, to keep things short and sweet, let’s just jump right in!

Today, the below image was released on DMK’s instagram.

This image is SUPER vague.  But I think that’s great since most of the hints are very very easy.  What’s coming next?  Oh! A picture of Rafiki holding up Simba!  I know!  It’s The Little Mermaid. No…wait…that’s not right.  Rafiki and Simba didn’t show up until The Little Mermaid 2…

I think we can safely assume one of two options:

Option #1 – Bambi

Don’t go into the tall grass Mom!!  The flowers in the image seem to suggest those that Flower rolls around in during Bambi.

If it IS Bambi, I hope the last character is Bambi’s Mom and the drop rate of all her tokens is 0% so there’s no way to save her.  Oh man, that would be hilarious…and awful.  Oh, I think I just figured out why I can’t work for Gameloft.  Ideas like that.

Option #2 – The Princess and the Frog

The lily pads in the image might be a reference to those which frogs often sit on to contemplate life after they have been turned into frogs and forced to listen to Alligator’s play trumpet.  I know that’s what I would do.

If this is the case, it would mean a new princess returning to our Kingdom and would be more of a return to old school events in which we had to fight a villain at the end.  I admit, the implications of voodoo themed tappers sounds pretty friggin’ cool.

What’s Your Guess?

So what do you think the next event will be?  Let me know in the comments!  You can bet once we have a for sure answer I’ll be back with my predictions of who will be included in the event!

  1. I would love either of these options… they were both my guesses too… and they do seem to be favourites for requests in the chats. If it’s Bambi, I would hope for permanent content. If Princess And The Frog, my guess would be an event with villain. Either way, the on-going chanting for more “LAND, LAND, LAND” is still ringing across everyone’s kingdoms, and we shall see what happens with that.

  2. Welcome back Jaysen, it’s not been the same without you. I didn’t get Stitch but I’m cool with that (I only have 6 dwarves, so I’ve learned not to care anymore). I’m really looking forward to the next event, more so because I’d love either of your suggestions and I love your take on the event as you guide us through. Bring it on I say!…..💜X

  3. ……ps. I’ve noticed now that the Premium purchases ‘helps with…’ has evolved. I used to get them but now it looks like you need to purchase the Premium attraction/building etc for it to be of use. I’ve stopped getting those now too. Not all changes are welcome, so I await with trepidation and crossing my fingers for more land too…..💜X

  4. Hey Jason, Welcome back and I hope you have great success with your book. With the way the picture is looking it is looking like Bambi and friends will be joining the Kingdom in the next update. My reasoning behind this is the way the flowers in the picture are more of the old type animation for when Bambi came out in theatres. I think that it will be cool to have Bambi in the kingdom.

  5. My daughter sent me a shot after I had seen your email. If you zoom in to the right of the castle there is a deer.
I’m glad you’re back, been missing your posts.

  6. So happy to read your recent post, Jason. Best wishes for the success of Longtails: The Storms of Spring. I’m looking forward to reading it myself. I would be extremely surprised if the upcoming event was anything but Bambi, based on the above photo. I can’t wait to see him learn to walk on spindly legs, watch Thumper eating greens for a special treat (It makes long ears and great big feet. But it sure is awful stuff to eat), and see Feline bat her big doe eyes at Bambi! Any chance of a venison stand for the event concession? Yum!
