I think at the end of every year, it’s easy to look back at what has transpired and be really unhappy with how it all went down. We make resolutions and vow to be better. We say that this year will be different. While 2016 had its ups and downs and certainly had a very tough end, I happen to think that it wasn’t all bad. Looking back, it was actually pretty awesome.
I started off the year by releasing my second book…during a blizzard! It was actually pretty amazing and I can’t think of a better way to kick off a new year.
In February, we took my Mom to Disney World for the very first time, which also meant that WE got to go back to Disney.
We watched a LOT of Disney movies this year. Like Zootopia…
My eyes are the same color as Mace Windu’s lightsaber. Boom.
AND The Jungle Book.
We played a lot of board games. And we used them as a good reason to eat our friends with squids.
Look Phil! It’s a cute little squid. Oh god! The squid just ate Phil! Not cute! NOT CUTE!!!
We finished up the project that started this blog, Vault Disney.
And then we did a little project called Vault Pixar.
True love is found in the strangest of places.
And then we started Vault Ghibli, which I promise we will finish in the new year.
And of course, a little game called Disney Magic Kingdoms came out. This is how I got to know many of you and it has sure eaten a lot of our time, but man has it been a blast.
I started writing The Kingdom, which has turned into one of my favorite projects on the blog. Again, more is coming in the new year! I promise!!!
And Elena of Avalor released, giving me a reason to fan girl every few weeks.
We can’t forget about one of my favorite game releases of the year, Disney Magical World 2, which ate even more of my time and still does eat my time very often.
And from a book release, to lots of fun and games, the love of my life and I ended our year by getting married and doing it Disney style.
So yeah, 2016 was not all bad. In fact, we had a ton of fun and seeing as how we are moving to Orlando in a couple weeks, something tells me a new set of adventures are right around the corner. Happy New Year! Thanks for all your work. I would share that I brought my niece (4) and nefew (2) to a Disney movie for the first time (Moana) and it was a blast! Hoping we can all see Disney World someday! Of corse DMK ate lots of time but its been lots of fun. The group is also a super addition. Have a magical year.

It was a welcome respite from all the negative news releases & ocurrences both here in Blighty & across the pond. Thirdly, Thanks for all your wonderful work on this site & all the super useful info on DMK that you supplied us with in 2016, whilst trying to maintain a semblance of a ‘normal’ real life & plan your nuptials too. Superman or what? The wealth of information you provided & the contributors in the comments too helped me so much & means I continue to enjoy the game, as intended. I’m looking forward to sharing your adventure as you generously write & post all the exciting things happening in your world. As for me 2017 started really well. At approx 07.00 I welcomed Hans into my game. I am soooo happy. What? You couldn’t possibly think I was going to post anything ‘real life’😂. Not sure if you drink J, but this is on me🍾…..💜X

The most amazing thing that happened to me in 2016 was receiving forgiveness that I in no way, shape, or form deserved. Here’s to an amazing 2017 full of love, laughter, friendship, and magic!
The most amazing thing that happened was going on a 10 day road trip with my hubby and teen kids to see some of the most awesome sights in the midwest and western US as well as visiting with my mom, who I don’t get to see often enough at her home in Idaho.
Congratulations! 2016 was a blast, mainly cause I got to go toDisneyland for the first time in forever. I also got to go to California Adventure and Wizarding Workd of Harry Potter for the first time.
