Hello all!

If you read this little blog often, it will come as no surprise that later this month Carl and I will be taking my Mother to Disney World in Orlando.  As part of this trip, I’ll be blogging a little of our prep.  I will also be attempting to blog while we are there, which may or may not prove a challenge.  Only time will tell.  I’ll also be interviewing my Mom to get her impressions before and after because, believe it or not, she has never EVER been to a Disney Park so this will be her first!

Starting the prep work for our trip.

I’m so excited to share this with my Mom as I’ve become something of a Disney obsessive, and while my Mom is a Disney fan, I hope for her first experience in the parks to be as magical as possible.  I’ll be sharing with her secrets within the parks as well during our trip, and I’ll do my best to post some of those here.  Who knows, maybe there will be one tidbit you guys don’t already know!

Being able to give back to my Mom who has supported me through thick and thin, hurricane and blizzard, is something I can’t wait to do!

I hope to make this a really fun story for you guys to come along with us on.  I know that many of my readers live in Orlando and go to Disney often.  For you, I hope to tell you at least one single thing about the parks you didn’t already know.  For all of you who have never been to a park or maybe only get to go once in a blue moon, I hope you get a closer look at the parks and get to experience a little bit of the magic through this blog.  I will be taking a ton of pictures to document and I am also hoping to do a comprehensive history of the parks as well as specific rides here on the blog later in the year.
