Oh man, what a treat this was to wake up to this morning.  Last year at D23 we got the announcement that a game would be coming to replace the much loved Virtual Magic Kingdom, or VMK game.  Today we finally have an official teaser trailer and it looks great!  I mean, who doesn’t want to build their own Disney park on their iPhone.  I know I do.  Check out the trailer below and then hit the jump for some more info on the game.

The game will allow players to experience park history by building iconic buildings like Mickey’s Fun Wheel and the Astro Orbiter.  Based on the trailer, it looks like there will be a lot of playing around with different characters.  I never played VMK but I understand that a big feature of it was the community and I have to wonder if this game will incorporate some of those ideas as I don’t see any of it in the trailer.

One thing that is cool is that right now, you can sign up early and start earning in game rewards and what’s better is that the more folks who sign up, the more free stuff we’ll get.  Obviously I’ve already signed up and if this is at all in your wheelhouse, you can join up to by heading over to the official website for the game.
